When You Wish Upon A Star

Whether you decide to cast your wish upon a star, or ask God, or Buddha, or even wish by throwing a coin into the fountain, it really does come true. Walt Disney really did know how to convey these messages through the characters and movies he and his team created. Your wishes and desires are also sent into the Universe if you just ask for it through thought and just wanting it within your mind. The Universe says yes! It's on it's way! The key here is ALLOWING yourself to receive it! Now you may be saying, hey of course I'm allowing it in. Why wouldn't I be? There are many times that we are not even conscious of the fact that we are holding up the wait time for our wishes and desire to come true. The hold up is due to placing that wish and letting society or family tell us it's not possible or any other way to convince us it was a useless wish. Another hold up is not actually believing it will come to you or constantly telling yourself all the ways it won't actually make its way to you or keeping tabs on the time it's taking. These are all the ways in which your wish is delayed. Now, there's an important caveat here. There are times you have made a wish or sent a desire out and you are not a match to it at the time and therefore it is delayed and/or the Universe is setting you up with something even better than you ever wished for! Let me provide an example. You are currently looking for a job and have set your desires to work at a great company with great benefits, a fun staff and a great commute. You've applied and received an interview at one of the top companies you were looking forward to. You complete the interview and it went amazing. The person interviewing you was awesome, the commute was great and overall you were sure the job was yours. You then get an email thanking you for your time and that the position has been filled. The first reaction of most of us is to blame ourselves for this happening or even breaking down all the ways the interview may have gone wrong. It's ok if you have done this in the past, but I want you to STOP from this day forward. Stop doing this with your jobs, relationships, homes, and anything else you were sure were happening. Why? Because the Universe knows EXACTLY what is meant for you and exactly what is actually waiting for you. You have worked your way into the world of knowing what you want and what you're capable of doing. The Universe knows this too. Instead of spending even another second wondering what went wrong, you need to flip the script and think about what the Universe is directing you to that is even better. On the outside that job looked amazing. The problem is that you had no idea what that company looked like on the inside. Maybe your manager was not a match for you. Maybe the people within that company were miserable and therefore not a match to your energy. There are many examples in which these scenarios exist. Maybe that person you thought was amazing for a relationship was really a slob at home and a jerk to people when you got to know this person later on. See where I'm going with this? If you have practiced knowing that the Universe is always on your side for a while, your life will begin to flow much smoother than ever. You must always tell yourself that God, or your angels, or the Universe have a greater surprise planned for you!

Children are really my idols. Children and pets actually. They know how to let go and be wild and free. Children believe that they can be, do or have anything because they haven't grown up enough to let all of the worlds beliefs and rules settle in. They have dreams and aspirations. The problem herein lies when the parents tell them that they can't be or do what they dream of. The parents do that because they themselves were taught the same thing growing up so that's all they've got. I grew up hearing my parents tell me that certain ideas I had were not going to work because it wasn't practical. I have now reached a point in my life after much research and life experience that I know I can't blame them for any of my setbacks. They raised my sister and I the best way they knew how. We, as a society and community globally are ever expanding. We are breaking barriers and learning so much more than we can even imagine. We are on the brink of even greater times. I know it and feel it. Through the past 2 years of much adversity, we have grown and upleveled. We have created a new world of thinking, feeling, seeing, connecting, and just being. We have been and are continuing to do things we have only dreamed of. We are allowing ourselves to reveal who we truly are inside. We are sharing with others thoughts, feelings and hopes of a better future. We are practicing ways of loving who we are and who others are as well. We haven't perfected it, but we are working our way there. Ask, release, let go and let God as the saying goes. As long as we have faith in the Universe and ourselves, we will evolve. As long as we continue to dream a little dream or even a BIG dream and continue to wish upon a star, we can only expand and grow.
