Point. Set. Match.

This is a wonderfully coined expression that is quite simple and to the point. I'm sure we've all heard this both referring to tennis and other areas of our lives. Sometimes this has even been used to express the satisfaction of a victory. The victory of an argument or a case, for example, that's been settled. I asked Chap GPT just for fun what she says (yes for me it's a she) about this phrase and it says "point, set, match literally moves from the smallest unit to the whole victory." Interesting how that relates so much to every point, set and match of my life. In any case, I am using this expression to describe how you are a match to everything and everyone that comes into your life. The victory is knowing that once you realize how the universal laws work, you can navigate your life a bit easier. Now, what do I mean when I say you are a match to everything and everyone in your life? Well, let me start by saying that even after the last decade of studying, experiencing and living with and through the law of attraction, I still need a minute sometimes to step back and wonder how certain events occur in my life and what vibe I’m in and sending out. While working with my dear friend, coach, and psychic (yes, she is all of that and more) a couple months ago, she made sure to remind me of that. We have been working together on and off now for about 7 years. Also, I should mention that in the spiritual/5D world there is never an "off" because we know each other well enough that the universe and our angels send the signals (aka signs and synchronicities) to each other even if we are not physically in contact. She has to shut off the signs from our angels verbally or mentally to conserve her energy otherwise she would be working 24/7. So on our last session after all these years, it was a cumulative summary of everything we have done and been through. She knows it all from the beginning of my true spiritual journey in 2019 up until now. The heartbreak, the loss of self and self image, the dark knights of the soul ,the blocks, the rejections, the sadness and tears, the mental parts, the physical moves in and out and through California, the blessings, the coaches, the angel connections, the books, the guidance, the connections to spirit, the downloads, the card readings, the new passion projects, the family dynamics, the change in friendships, and the list goes on. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? This is what happens when you give in to your spiritual calling or make big or small changes in life. All your point, set and matches have to lead to small or big victories. Whatever those victories are for you even though it doesn't appear that way in the beginning. All good things come to those who wait, have faith and BELIEVE they are worthy of the good. Waiting doesn't have to mean months and years. It's all relative. So in our "final" session she brought up the phrase "it wasn't meant to be." A phrase I'm sure many of us have heard and even used. In Persian we say "ghesmat" which is also "kismet" in Turkish. So think about it, growing up I never really cared that much about the typical societal demands on a girl of getting married, getting a house and having children (not necessarily in that order). When I started dating the select few guys I was interested in, I would generally think that particular guy could be the one. When he wasn't, I said "it wasn't meant to be". Here is where we talk about the universe matching you. Every single guy I dated or met was an exact match to me and for me even though I had no idea at the time. I mean who the heck told us these things back then? If someone told the younger me this after each guy that didn't work out this advice, I would probably get pissed off and think he or she was crazy. I now know it's true. I was going through a lot of internal stuff growing up that I hid or kept buried (figuratively of course), consciously or unconsciously. So each guy or relationship mirrored that. If I met guys that rejected me, I had an internal belief I would be rejected that may not have been on the surface of my thoughts or beliefs. If I met a guy that seemed clingy or too attached, I was dealing with some codependency stuff. See where I'm going with this? Every single guy was a match to me and was definitely meant to come into my experience. Think about your life and what is going on and see if you can understand what I'm talking about. When I say think about your life, it doesn’t have to be like my guy scenarios. This is what you are matching with. Are you attracting a lot of drama? Are you attracting unavailable men if you’re single? Are you meeting rude people? Are you meeting kind people? It takes a lot of courage to be honest with yourself and look inward. It takes a lot of courage and strength (both mental and sometimes physical) to be uncomfortable. We are so good at becoming comfortable with just ordinary, stability and not changing. Like the phrase "if it ain't broke, why fix it?" But why not upgrade it? You don't have to be "broken" to be "fixed." Don't you sometimes, most of the time or all the time know somewhere inside there's a voice saying "I want change" or "this can't be all there is in life." I once had an extremely vivid dream in which I said that exact same phrase related to "is this all there is in life" in 2019. It's like my dream was more clear than my real life. I swear, after that dream everything started to change drastically and when I began working spiritually with my dear friend as she was also going through big changes.
I'm sure many of you have heard of Dr. Joe Dispenza, and if not you're welcome (wink wink). He does a brilliant job of explaining how energy works and how the brain and body react when you’re brave enough to start a change in life and what he calls "stepping into the unknown." He explains it all from the biological perspective. If you're not into reading books, just find the many clips he has explaining all this on Youtube. I just recently watched one in which he describes one of his sons and how he manifested his dream perfect job after setting his intention and vision vividly for almost a month. In summary, when you step into the unknown, change, and uncomfortable space, that is where the magic happens. Brain waves change, neurons fire and the body changes. He loves to talk about your thoughts and how they turn into your beliefs. Just like Abraham Hicks says many times, "a belief is simply a thought you keep thinking." So simple, yet so profound. Dispenza also advises you to pay attention to your personality. He says countless times that "your personality is your PERSONAL REALITY." These are all key aspects to what you are attracting into your life in all aspects of it. Whether it's your finances, your love life, your health and so on. PAY ATTENTION. Stop moving through your life on autopilot. Stop being afraid to make little changes. Little changes equal your point, set, match! Take a good look around your life. Are you happy with it? Are you TRULY happy with it? If the answer is yes, then bravo! If the true answer is no, start putting the wheels of change in motion. Even if it's one small change that you know you're likely to do. If you want to be in better health, start with 1 thing. Maybe it's to start working out. Begin with telling yourself you'll go for a walk around the block for 5 or 10 minutes. Get your mini victory and build on that. Don't listen to your inner critic telling you it's not enough and it will never work for you. Name your inner critic and tell it to go to sleep. Have fun with this. Try to find nuggets of joy and fun in your life. You don't have to tell anyone what you're doing either. Keep things to yourself in the beginning so that no one can dampen your mood and momentum. You WILL build a momentum and then you're off running (both figuratively AND literally lol). Like what I did there? I did enjoy that one myself because even I need to keep having fun. See, I keep trying to emphasize having FUN in life and NOT being so hard on yourself. Be kinder to yourself by listening to Dr. Joe Dispenza and paying attention to your personality. Listen and pay attention to the words and thoughts you have about yourself. Stop looking for validation and approval from everyone. What do YOU think about yourself? If it's not that great, it's ok! We have ALL BEEN THERE. Trust me. When you start making internal changes, your outer world reflects that! The signs and synchronicities start to appear all around you applauding you! PAY ATTENTION!! Thank yourself and the universe for all of it. When you start to see the signs, the new people and opportunities, you're on your way to greatness and great changes. That's when you need to do your best to stay in a state of APPRECIATION. You don't need to keep count of the "points" or "sets" or even "matches." Just pay attention to your personal victories from the brave person you were to make little and or big changes in your life. The universe will continue to guide, surprise and delight you. Don't sweat the small stuff and celebrate all the stuff. Be happy you are alive and breathing. Remember that you are always the creator of your current reality. You must also remember “EVERY MINUTE COUNTS.” (Quoted from one of my favorite shows “The Bear”) I like to end meaningful discussions with a mic drop, but I feel it's fitting here to go with POINT, SET, MATCH! Until next time....
