Breaking Through

In life we have experienced many trials and tribulations. It's how we respond to these experiences and grow from them. In each experience we are tested and quite possibly pushed to our limits experiencing discomfort. That feeling of discomfort is where the magic happens. That discomfort is our ego trying to create fear, saying that we cannot overcome the challenge. If you think back to all the times you faced adversity, you can see that you did overcome and you did make it out stronger and bolder than before. You faced the challenges and survived. That's why you are still here. Each challenge is a stepping stone to create a stronger you. Think of every challenge as an ingredient to a cake that you are baking. That cake requires many ingredients and that cake can also be referred to as your calling or different missions you have in this lifetime. You have to believe that every challenge you face and complete is an ingredient that has been incorporated in that delicious cake you are making. You don't know why it's happening and you don't know when certain challenges arise, but you must believe that it is for a higher and greater purpose. You must also remember that your ego will step in and remind you of all the ways you could fail and that maybe THIS time you will not succeed. When this happens you must tell your friend, ego, that it's time for it to take a back seat because you got this. Thank your ego for trying to scare you and keep you in your comfort zone. Your comfort zone is NOT where the magic happens. Your comfort zone is the place where you don't grow and most importantly where you are kept from moving in the direction of your passions and calling. Through these challenging times you will doubt yourself every time, however your soul tribe will be there to remind you how strong and incredible you are. Your soul tribe are your angels on Earth reminding you that you are surrounded by love and you are meant to evolve. You may experience sadness and certain emotions will arise from these challenges. You have to know that your body and mind are releasing old emotions that you have carried within you for many years and possibly lifetimes. Don't let these releasings trick you into thinking you are not good enough or strong enough to push through. This is the most important time to be kind to yourself and your soul. Again, your soul tribe and people will show up to remind you that you are on the right path when you feel like you can't convince yourself. The key in these "dark" times is to persevere and push through the barriers you have built around yourself and within your mind. You know the tools to help guide you through those barriers. You picked up these tools as you have been living your life from people, books, and experiences. You know that when you take that nature walk or spend time with your pet, go to the ocean, or even take a nap, you are creating a space to find peace and joy. You know that reading a book, listening to your favorite music, painting, writing, dancing, singing, exercising, or watching a funny movie will help move the low vibrational energies out of you. You will be guided to lifting yourself out of defeat and you must listen and follow that guidance. Know that you are being molded and prepared for the next step in your journey.

There is a moment in time, every time, when you experience your breakthrough. When you have quite literally broken through all the barriers of that particular challenge. They don't call it a breakthrough for nothing. It's similar to the rainbow that appears after the storm. You look back and somehow just know you feel stronger and upleveled. You feel like the challenges you experienced were part of a dream. You almost feel like you can conquer the world and any other challenge that comes your way. Feel this greatness fully. Write about it and tell yourself how awesome you are. Tell yourself all the ways you are strong, bold, confident and deserving of everything in your life. You are F*CKING AWESOME. Tell yourself this in the shower, in the car, inside your mind, outloud, or even shout it from the mountain tops. The more you rise above your challenges, the faster your ego takes a back seat the next time. Your goal is to look back and see that every piece of the puzzle is fitting just right. The ingredients to your cake are being added one by one. Your cake is going to be incredibly divine. You will be incredibly divine. You ARE incredibly divine. I believe William Ernest Henley's poem "Invictus" says it perfectly. Read this poem each time you are faced with a new growing challenge. Remind yourself how powerful and awesome you are. You are meant to shine. You are meant for success. You are meant for greatness. You are INVINCIBLE.
